Remnants of the Old Republic

“The Original Republic itself was formed over 25,000 BBY when the first “Galactic Constitution” was signed on Coruscant. Whether this means that Coruscant was the original homeworld of humans or simply the most powerful world at the time is still up for debate, and there has been little said about the event other than that it occurred.

The republic was made up of about a million worlds. The Clone Wars, which occur from 22 BBY to 19 BBY, was the first full scale war since the Republic’s reformation after the Battle of Ruusan.”(May not be true due to its from Wikupedia, but it has some type of history)

With the death of the Old Republic a few of the remaining members formed Remnants of the Old Republic. Living in secret for a while Remnants of the Old Republic aided in supplying the Rebellion with food, weapons, armor, as well as money and housing. With the destruction of the Death Star RotOR started to make its government known to the Empire, showing that the Rebellion is well-organized and ready to return to a democracy.
